Back to business

Now that the fun of the holidays is over, back to business.

Chance likes to bite or chew. Most times it feels like a new puppy playing, but other times its hard and hurts. Primates have 4 canine teeth, which we have opted to have blunted. There are pro's and con's about having them removed, and removed to soon. So our Vet has filed them down for us when he was a baby.Now that he has lost them, we are waiting for the permanent ones to come in. Chance likes to teeth on hard plastic and rope (we use a parrot perch). Wood splinters, and some plastic is brittle and shatters creating splinters as well. The splinters are not healthy for him as stated in an older post, he got a splinter of plastic in his cheek causing an infection, he looked like he had cheeked a grape. We could tell he was miserable. SO no more items that can splinter.

He was on antibiotic for 10 days.
