Chance is a Capuchin Monkey from the New World Monkey Species. Chance was gotten from a Breeder in North Carolina and Came to our family at 3 months old. Currently he is 10 years old. We celebrate his Birthday May 5th.

In the near/distant future, my boyfriend and I would like to adopt a baby Capuchin of our own. I have done much research and found a breeder, but my paranoid mother chimed in and said that they are dangerous animals. That people get attacked by them all the time.
What is your opinion? I've been attacked by a vicious dog before so I don't see the difference between getting a baby monkey and getting a puppy.
